Personalized Dashboards for Roles

This complete redesign of Torpago's platform, optimized role-specific usability, drove a $2.6M increase in customer spend, and contributed to a successful $10.8M Series B funding round.

Background

Torpago is a fintech startup that provides spend management solutions and credit card services to banks and small business.

Through user interviews, surveys, and customer feedback, we identified key challenges faced by Admins, Managers, and Users. They were struggling to prioritize tasks and access the resources they needed.

The ideation phase involved empathizing with users by creating personas and understanding their pain points.

User flows were mapped out for the 3 different roles.

Designing the information architecture tailored to the needs of the three distinct user roles.

Approach

The platform was redesigned with role-specific features to better meet user needs. Each user was provided with tailored tools and data aligned with their responsibilities, streamlining workflows, reducing confusion, and simplifying task completion.

This approach introduced three new dashboards, a redesigned system, and updated user flows to improve task completion across all roles.

Impact

The redesign of the Torpago platform improved usability, reducing task-related support queries by 29.4% and boosting CSAT from 73% to 86.7% in May 2024. Enhanced data visualization and transaction tracking led to a $2.6M increase in customer spend, contributing to $17.1M total Q1 spending, with $10.3M from white-label programs. These improvements strengthened Torpago’s scalability, helping secure a $10.8M Series B round and a strategic partnership with Link Bancorp ($2.8B net worth).
